The Best Things In Life Are Free

So Thursday was actually a net income day for me.  After posting about the Bare Necessities postage return, I received an email and a refund for that $5.60, and since I didn't spend any other money, my net total was (+)$5.60.

Which brings me to my next point, that judging by money spent, I didn't do anything on Thursday, or at least didn't do anything fun or worth noting, when in fact I had dinner at this very nice and very chic place with my totally awesome friend, Zoe, who treated me to dinner (thank you!).

This has been bothering me in general, as some of the most fun things I do don't cost any money, so they also don't get any play on this here paean to consumerism. So, from now on, I am going to try to note at least one thing every day that was fun and FREE!
